EXPLANATION FOR COMMON TOADSTOOL AND FUNGI NAMES
Amanita vaginata [The Grisette] : 'Grisette' is French for a 'grey fabric dress' and cap colour is grey - voila !
Armillaria mellea [Bootlace Fungus] : The 'bootlace' refers to the underground 'roots' the fungus uses to spread as they resemble shoelaces
Amanita muscaria [Fly Agaric] : Fungus is attractive to flies, not just to gnomes with fishing poles
